Niagara: a cascade of functionalities!
The main features of Niagara are:
- streaming over IP networks (ISMA standard); up to 2 streams can be encoded at the same time from external sources like TV, DVB-S, analogue or digital video.
- real-time encoding, several types of video transcoding to meet your requirements (e.g. from MPEG1/2 to MPEG4)
- save audio/video streams from several sources in files. The saved files can be shared over the LAN with the SMB protocol and can therefore be easily accessed both on Windows-based computers (as shared files) and on Linux-based computers (with samba).
